Poverty Relief
Family Assistance Program
A planned 2026 family assistance program from The Giving Legacy to provide emergency support for housing, utilities, and essential needs to families and veterans in crisis across Florida.

Helping Families Through Crisis
When families face unexpected hardship—job loss, medical emergencies, natural disasters, or the challenges of transitioning from military service—The Giving Legacy's planned Family Assistance Program for 2026 will provide a safety net.
Our planned program will offer emergency support for rent, utilities, and essential household needs. We will not stop at immediate relief. We plan to work with families to develop plans for long-term stability, connecting them with job training, financial literacy resources, and community support networks.
Every family deserves stability and security—especially those who have served our country. Through compassionate, practical support, we aim to help families and veterans weather difficult times and build toward a brighter future.
Our Goals for 2026
- 200 families assisted with emergency support
- 100 evictions prevented through rental assistance
- 150 families helped maintain utility services
- 100 families connected with ongoing support resources
