The Giving Legacy exists to help people in poverty, support social justice causes, and provide faith-based programs focused on Christianity. We serve communities in Florida through practical assistance, advocacy, and spiritual support, treating all people with compassion and dignity.

Funding Model
The Giving Legacy is a private foundation funded entirely by founder Sam Sharma. As a private foundation, we do not solicit or accept donations from the public. This funding model allows us to direct 100% of resources to our charitable programs and grantmaking activities.

As a private foundation, The Giving Legacy is required to distribute at least 5% of its assets annually for charitable purposes. Our commitment is to ensure that the maximum amount of resources goes directly to serving those in need through our programs and grants to qualified charitable organizations.

Sam founded The Giving Legacy after years of philanthropic work with organizations including St. Jude's Hospital, Feeding South Florida, and Vous Church.

In accordance with IRS regulations, The Giving Legacy makes the following documents available for public inspection upon request: IRS Form 990-PF (annual information returns for the past three years), IRS Form 1023 (application for tax-exempt status), and IRS Determination Letter.
