Poverty Relief
Hunger Relief
A planned 2026 hunger relief program from The Giving Legacy to provide nutritious meals and food assistance to families and veterans facing food insecurity across Florida.

Fighting Hunger in Our Community
Food insecurity affects millions of Americans—including many veterans and military families—and Florida is no exception. The Giving Legacy's planned Hunger Relief program for 2026 will work to ensure that no family in our community goes hungry.
Through planned partnerships with local food banks, churches, and community organizations, we aim to distribute nutritious meals and groceries to families in need. Our approach will go beyond immediate relief—we plan to connect families with resources for long-term food security and financial stability.
We believe that access to healthy food is a fundamental right, and we are committed to addressing both the immediate symptoms and root causes of hunger in our community.
Our Goals for 2026
- 5,000 meals distributed to families in need
- 10 partnerships with local food banks and churches
- 3 planned community food pantry locations established
- 200 families connected with long-term food security resources
How Volunteers Will Help
When this planned program launches, volunteer time will help create impact:
- One volunteer shift helps sort and pack food for dozens of families
- Food drive participation helps stock planned pantry shelves
- Delivery assistance brings food to those unable to travel
- Administrative support keeps operations running smoothly
