Fighting Hunger in Our Community
Food insecurity affects millions of Americans—including many veterans and military families—and Florida is no exception. The Giving Legacy's Hunger Relief program works to ensure that no family in our community goes hungry.
Through partnerships with local food banks, churches, and community organizations, we distribute nutritious meals and groceries to families in need. Our approach goes beyond immediate relief—we connect families with resources for long-term food security and financial stability.
We believe that access to healthy food is a fundamental right, and we're committed to addressing both the immediate symptoms and root causes of hunger in our community.
Our Goals for 2026
- 5,000 meals distributed to families in need
- 10 partnerships with local food banks and churches
- 3 community food pantry locations established
- 200 families connected with long-term food security resources
