Creating Lasting Change Through Advocacy

True transformation requires addressing the systems that perpetuate poverty and inequality. The Giving Legacy's Social Justice Initiative works to create lasting change through advocacy, education, and community empowerment.

Our approach is nonpartisan and focused on human dignity. We advocate for policies that expand opportunity, protect vulnerable populations—including veterans and military families—and create more equitable systems. We believe that justice is an essential expression of our faith—Scripture calls us to "act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God" (Micah 6:8).

Through community education programs, advocacy training, and partnership with other organizations, we equip community members to be effective advocates for change in their own neighborhoods and beyond.

Our Goals for 2026

  • 100 community advocates trained
  • 20 educational workshops on justice issues hosted
  • 10 partnerships with advocacy organizations
  • 500 community members engaged in civic participation
