Youth Development

Investing in the Next Generation

The future of our community depends on investing in our youth today. The Giving Legacy's planned Youth Development program for 2026 will provide young people with the support, guidance, and opportunities they need to reach their full potential.

Planned programs will include academic tutoring, mentorship matching, leadership development workshops, and college preparation assistance. We will focus on building character, confidence, and practical skills that will serve young people throughout their lives.

Many youth in underserved communities lack access to mentors and resources that can help them succeed. We plan to bridge that gap by connecting caring adults with young people who need guidance and support.

Our Goals for 2026

  • 50 youth matched with dedicated mentors
  • 100 students provided academic support
  • 24 leadership development workshops hosted
  • 25 students helped prepare for college or career

How Volunteers Will Help

When this planned program launches, volunteer time will support:

  • Tutoring sessions that improve academic outcomes
  • Mentorship relationships that provide guidance and support
  • Leadership workshops that build confidence and skills
  • College prep assistance that opens doors to opportunity

Get Involved

When this 2026 program launches, we will seek volunteers for:

  • One-on-one mentorship (2-4 hours/month commitment)
  • Academic tutoring (various subjects)
  • Workshop facilitation and teaching
