Sustainable Communities Initiative

The Sustainable Communities Initiative is a planned 2027 program to support community gardens and local food sources that help neighborhoods build lasting food security from the ground up.

This initiative is in early planning and has not yet launched. Our goal is to help establish 5 community gardens alongside churches, schools, and community groups.

What This Initiative Will Do

  • Support community gardens that provide fresh, local food
  • Pair sustainable food sources with our broader hunger relief work
  • Equip neighborhoods to help provide for themselves over the long term

We will share updates as this initiative moves from planning into action.
